We would like to introduce you to Wanda's new endeavor. The memory of her grandmother, Christine Pletschette, has inspired her to develop a new line of fine furniture to carry on her legacy... The Christine Pletschette Line of Furniture. This distinctive collection of one-of-a-kind, timeless furniture will consist of two divisions. We are creating a line that will be special order only. Orders will be taken based on our completed samples and adapted to your personal requests. Over time more pieces will be added to those currently on display. In addition to that line, we are creating new from old...items from attics, garages, and storage restored into treasured heirloom quality pieces. Conceptually, these lines of furniture will appear to be a piece of the past; but, will be built and finished to represent a piece of the present...pieces of such quality and individuality that they will persevere just as the legacy of Christine Pletschette. We invite you to explore and create your own legacy through this unique design experience.
The Christine Pletschette Story
In 1938 my grandmother, Christine Pletschette, died at the age of 30. She left behind a seventeen-month-old baby girl, my mother, and three other children. This is my tribute to her life. This furniture line serves to honor her spirit¡Ka spirit that lives on now in her name¡K Christine Pletschette. It isn¡¦t just the name¡Kit¡¦s the promise fulfilled¡Kit¡¦s the tradition created¡Kit¡¦s the legacy of her life¡Kand, it¡¦s the essence of this collection of treasured pieces.

Classes
Designer Finishes, Incorporated offers professionally taught classes from the Do-It-Yourselfer to the Professional Painter. Our mission is to educate our students, both professional and non-professional, in the basic skills required for artistic, decorative faux finishes. We teach using top of the line products and a complete line of tools for the trade. Please call the Studio at 217-672-8822 to sign up for classes. Classes fill up quickly, so please sign up early! A 50% deposit is required at registration, on all classes.
